When Is Overwatch 2 Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Exclusive Rewards Await Xbox Game Pass Subscribers in Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 prepares for its most promising Season 12 by packing in new content like the spacefaring support hero Juno, and dazzling mythic skins for both Ana and Reaper. The biggest news might just be what’s arriving for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

While Overwatch 2 is free to play, members of Xbox Game Pass are getting a special deal. From the starting date, connecting your Battle.net account with an active Game Pass subscription unlocks all in-game goodies.

One of the headline acts is that you’ll get a pack of legendary hero skins, free and clear, to keep forever. There’s also a very nice opportunity to customize your favorite heroes in some of the more highly sought-after cosmetics.

Want to know how to get your loot? On September 17th, Overwatch 2 is joining the Xbox Game Pass library. Connect your Battle.net account to an eligible Game Pass subscription and snag a one-time bonus of 30 Mythic prisms you can use to get those sick Mythic skins.

But that’s not all! By connecting your accounts, you will also be given a package of six community-favorite legendary hero skins: Cardboard Reinhardt, the iconic skin; Turtleship D.Va, the cute one; Cyberdragon Hanzo, steely and smooth; Street Runner Genji, speed up the pace; Bee Mercy, busy buzzing around; and Cleric Lifeweaver, wise beyond words. Keep in mind that, as long as you connect your accounts by October 21st, these skins are yours to keep forever.

In the case of Overwatch 2, though, the perks of being an Xbox Game Pass subscriber don’t end on launch day. Instead, it continues with things like additional cosmetics from past seasons and a stackable XP boost to conquer that battle pass even quicker.
