Overwatch League player tested positive for coronavirus

Paris Eternal off-tank Eoghan “Smex” O’Neill has been tested positive for coronavirus the player confirmed. Smex is hereby the first player from Overwatch League to be tested positive for coronavirus.

He is said to be keeping himself under self-quarantine for a week before confirming that his symptoms are mild. He thanked everyone for supporting him for the entirety of the previous week.

Smex is also under recovery from a cardiac surgery and is expected to keep on missing games with coronavirus adding on to his tally of health issues. This surgery has already taken valuable season playtime from Smex in the 2020 OWL season.

The Englishman joined the team just before the 2020 season of OWL commenced has been sidelined for the majority of the season after going through his fair share of health troubles. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him in action in Paris Eternal colors.
