PewDiePie to take break from YouTube

The biggest independent YouTuber Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg has decided to take a break from uploading videos with no foreseeable return date.

PewDiePie has been ruling YouTube as a single content creator for over a decade now, boasting an astounding 108 million subscribers.

Over the years, he has built a reputation for uploading content regularly, not missing a single day to bring a smile to the faces of his fans.

Naturally, for someone like him, taking a break is surprising for his fans, though this is not his first foray into a vacation from YouTube.

“I might not stream for a while either, just to take some full time off, and come back fully charged. So I’ll be offline for a week, two weeks, maybe three weeks. I don’t know. I know it’s kind of a ball-buster to end here, but I don’t really take breaks and I feel like I just need it.” said Felix. His previous break took over a month that explains why he didn’t promise a return date.

His break has encouraged fans to kick start a “NOSTALGIA WEEK” over at the r/PewdiepieSubmissions subreddit, where fans are coming together to dig up the glorious moments, memes, videos from PewDiePie’s decade long rule on YouTube. When Kjellberg returns, his subreddit might turn into an album of his eventful past.

Last year, his break started before January 15 till February 21, lasting for over a month. Similarly this year, he claims the break will run “for a week, two weeks, maybe three weeks.”. Pewds drops videos all year long, working hard each and every day, so a monthlong break will be more than justified as every person deserves to take a break for themselves.
