Sony has announced yet another State of Play showcase, just over a month after their recent PlayStation showcase.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the upcoming State of Play will be focusing on “announcements and updates for upcoming third-party releases headed to PS5 and PS4” which means that we won’t be seeing God of War: Ragnarock or Horizon: Forbidden West gameplay or any first-party title announcements from in-house studios. Although we could be seeing more gameplay and news related to Ghostwire: Tokyo, Final Fantasy XVI, or even Grand Theft Auto 5 Expanded & Enhanced since the blog mentions “new looks” at “previously announced games.”
It seems like this month’s State of Play will be a short affair and well under “20 minutes or so.”
The broadcast will take place on Wednesday, October 27 at 2:00pm PT / 10:00pm BST and will be streamed on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
