The publisher of the game, Tencent Games, has announced the next iteration of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship. PMGC 2022, the largest global PUBG Mobile Esports championship, will include the best teams from around the world. There will be a sizable $4 million USD prize pool, and organizers have increased the number of available spots from 24 to 48 from the previous season.
As stated earlier, PMGC 2022 will witness two major phases, league stage and grand finals. A total of 48 teams will be competing in the league stage out of which the best 13 teams will compete with 3 other invited teams in the grand finals. The league stage will feature a prize pool of $2,500,000 USD whereas the grand finals will have a prize pool of $1,500,000 USD.
The league stage is further divided into three stages, Group stage, Survival stage and Last chance. Each stages will feature different prize pool that will be distributed among the teams.

Each PMGC league stage participating team will receive a $10,000 USD participation reward for attending the tournament. The group stage will feature $463,000 USD per group. Here is the group stage distribution.

The top 3 teams from the group stage will qualify for the grand finals whereas teams finishing from 4th to 11th spot will qualify to the survival stage. The survival stage will feature a prize pool of $348,000 USD that will be distributed among 24 teams.
The top 16 teams from the survival stage will qualify for the last chance. The last chance will feature a prize pool of $283,000 USD. The top four teams from the last chance will qualify for the PMGC 2022 Grand Finals.
