PMPL Americas Championship Day 3: Match Recap, Overall Standings, and more

The third day of the PMPL Americas Championship concluded today. Knights took back their number one spot and is leading the overall standings with 115 kills and 255 total points at the end of the third day, followed by Ghost Gaming with 94 kills and 200 total points. INTZ finished at the third spot with 160 points including the 54 kill points.

PMPL Season 3 2021 Americas Championship is a four-day event where the top 16 teams from North America, Brazil, and Latam will compete with each other. PMPL Americas is scheduled to held from June 17th to 20th 2021. The teams will compete for a massive prize pool of $150,000 and the champions title. Each team will play a total of 24 matches in four days (6 matches each day). The table topper of the overall standings will be the PMPL Americas Champion. For each ‘Winner Winner Chicken Dinner’ teams will be awarded $500 and the MVP of the tournament will get $6,000 as a reward.

PMPL Americas Championship Day 3 Match Recap

The first match of the day was played in Erangel, Knights took the chicken dinner with 11 kills followed by Team Queso with 7 kills. The second game on Sanhok was won by Passion Fruit Esports who who only managed to take three kills. However, Team Queso finished at the number one spot due to its high kills (12) game. Irmaos Metralha took the chicken dinner in the third match on Miramar with 10 kills. Knights secured the second spot with 10 kills.

The fourth match of the day was played in Erangel, which was won by Passion Fruit Esports with 8 kills. Alpha 7 Esports emerged as the champions in the fifth match with 13 kills. Irmaos Metralha and Estorm Gaming took the second and third spot with 5 and 6 kills. The last match of the day was won by Knights with massive 14 kills followed by Estorm Gaming and Furious Gaming with 3 and 4 kills respectively.

With only 6 more matches left in the PMPL Americas Championship. Each team will be looking to finish at the top of the overall leaderboard at the end of the day. Day 4 will commence tomorrow with the same set of teams.
