PUBG: Community speaks, Acer listens

The Acer Predator League 2020 caused many grievances in the community of PUBG PC in India which was regarding the qualifiers format, points system etc which pushed us to help the community and write an article on the same.

The number of games in the tournament was creating a problem among the community, previously it was a Best-of-1 format for the online qualifiers which has now been changed to a Best-of-5 format and in the LAN finals previously it was a Best-of-3 which has now been increased to a Best-of-5 as well. This was a big concern and was put up by us to which the organisers responded and did the needful.

The other problem in the tournament was the number of teams in a server which was 20 teams as per the previous rules but now it has been changed to 16 teams for qualifiers as well as the LAN Final happening in Bangalore.

The points system that was being used in the tournament was not acceptable in the current Meta and became obsolete but now after our report it has changed according to the point system which is in the Meta right now and followed in every tournament of PUBG PC worldwide.

Team TalkEsport is always with the community and will keenly help in growing the esports and gaming industry in India.
