PUBG Mobile bans over 800,000 accounts for cheating

In recent social media announcements, PUBG Mobile has permanently banned over 800,000 accounts in about 7 days. They shared a complete anti-cheating report displaying the different tiers of players that were banned.

The maximum number of bans came from the bronze tier whereas the least was seen in the conqueror tier. The officials also shared the types of hack that were used by the players and got banned by them. The most percentage of these players was the Auto-aim hacks user.

According to the latest anti-cheat report that has the data from May 28 to June 3, PUBG Mobile banned a total of 809,566 accounts from accessing the game.

The numbers have slightly decreased as compared to last week’s anti-cheating report. PUBG Mobile is one of the leading battle royale mobile games developed by Tencent Games.

With each game developed, we always see hackers and cheaters which spoils the nature of the game. PUBG Mobile has a no-cheat policy and introduced the Ban Pan anti-cheat system late in 2019 where it has banned the use of any third-party hacks.

On the recent anti-cheat post, the officials shared the tier distribution that was banned by the team. Below is the list of banned accounts.

  • Bronze – 31%
  • Silver – 10%
  • Gold – 8%
  • Platinum – 10%
  • Diamond – 14%
  • Crown – 15%
  • Ace – 11%
  • Conqueror – 1%

The official also disclosed the type of hacks that were used by these players. The majority of them were caught using Auto-aim hacks (28%), X-ray vision hack was used by 26% of the banned players, 9% used a modification of the character model while 6% did modification in the area of damage. Speed hacks were being used by 14 percent of these accounts, and 17% were using other types of hacks.

Presently, PUBG Mobile has banned millions of accounts from using unethical means such as hacking or cheating. The team will keep doing in the coming future to maintain fairness in the game.
