Erangel 2.0 is one of the most awaited map update in PUBG Mobile. PUBG Mobile recently made its biggest announcement that ushered the start of a “New Era” and finally the revamped Erangel map will make an appearance with the big update after getting developed for one year.
PUBG Mobile announced that Erangel 2.0 will appear in-game with the big update on 8th September. Apple App Store made this announcement with an exclusive article in which they explore the new bits of this map with the applied enhanced graphics that will come in version 1.0 update.
About Erangel 2.0:
First disclosed in August 2019, Erangel 2.0 brought in a new experience to the game. With highly altered terrain to enhanced buildings, everything was meant to become more upgraded and realistic. The officials did not disclose any information about this topic until earlier this year, where they launched Erangel 2.0 in version 1.0 beta update.

Revamped Locations:
Various locations on the map are changed. Right from Mansion to Sosnovka Military Base, the basic framework of this map has been revamped to add in more terrain details along with newly introduced broken tanks that will provide more cover and allow players to play around the open fields in more strategic way.
Georgopol and Prison had warehouses scattered all across and these warehouses are completely changed in look, right from the spacing of boxes within to the roof and floor details. Apart from that, Georgopol will look like a more realistic dock after adding seven more warehouses along with previously existing ones. Buildings and houses around the map are changed structurally and basements are added to them.
Dazzling graphics:
With the newly added graphics, the realistic feel of the game is bound to rise. The new era annoucement showcased beautiful stills from the map. Everything in Erangel 2.0 will have a touch of reality to it, right from the new smoke, explosions, and particle effects, to the shading and animations given to player characters and natural beauty around them.
The old Erangel map which has been in the game from the very start is getting replaced by the new Erangel 2.0 on 8th September 2020. Players can enjoy the old map till then to grab some wins and treasure their memories on the battlefield before moving on to adapting a better version of this classic map.
