James Young, the director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports revealed the plan for PUBG Mobile Esports 2022. The game has entered into its sixth year of the PUBG Mobile Esports which started back in 2018.
James Young said, “We have continued to build the pubg mobile global esports ecosystem in 2021 we studied seven new pro leagues to cover all regions globally and also started pmgc 2021 the overall ecosystem building is completed so I can say optimal esports 1.0 is done now it’s a time to move on to the next phase.”
The second phase of PUBG Mobile esports has been named “PUBG Mobile Esports 2.0” where the major focus will be to enhance the local regional layer for amateur and semi-pro to give them a solid foundation.
The major changes from the previous year format from pmco to pmpl twice per year to pmnc and regional cups to pmpl once per year and various tournaments including pmco pmcc and even major solid third-party events will have a qualifying slot for the relevant pmnc in 11 countries and regional cups in eight regions.
PUBG Mobile Esports 2022 Schedule
As PUBG Mobile Esports is selected as the official sport in both the South East Asia gate and Asian games the pro players will represent their own country. Although, the prize pool for 2022 has not been revealed by the officials but will be bigger than 2021.
