Over the past few weeks, rumors of PUBG Mobile returning to India have been spiraling all over the internet. Needless to say, the speculations have gotten the Indian PUBG Mobile fanbase elated.
According to leaks from several sources, PUBG Mobile may return to the South Asian country in the first half of 2021, while an official announcement is expected to arrive much earlier towards the end of 2020.
The version of PUBGM that’ll be released in India will be different from the prior version. The new release will see some major changes, including a feature to limit playtime.
It looks like some more good news await the Indian PUBGM fans as ‘liquipediamemphiz’ has claimed through his Instagram that players may be able to migrate their data from the global version to the Indian version once it re-releases in the country.
“Users will likely be able to have their Skins and In-App purchases from Global Version on their Indian Version,” Memphis said.
Migrating data from the global version means that your progress will restore itself and you won’t have to grind your way back. Skins and other in-app purchases will also be linked to your account once you import the data from your global account.
In the attached video, we can see that clicking on the stats of the PUBGM User ID 5239796758 returns the message, “The player you are viewing has migrated to PUBG Mobile India.“
