PUBG Corporation has announced that PUBG Mobile is coming back in India. The game is going to be a different than the global version and will be released under the title “PUBG Mobile India”. This official announcement has given rise to a large number of fake posts and news circulating on social media regarding the launch and details of PUBG Mobile India and the game’s fake trailer is now being shared on Whatsapp.
After the initial announcement of its return, PUBG Mobile India released few teasers which included some famous faces from the community. Influencers like Dynamo, Kronten and Jonathan made an appearance in this series of teasers and a short trailer or advertisement of the new game was expected to be next on the list.
The teaser release was not followed by the expected trailer and somehow, a short clip of PUBG Mobile India is circulating on social media, especially Whatsapp. This clip is being considered as the official PUBG Mobile India trailer which highlights some new skins and costumes after inspection by BGR, they concluded that the video is a “doctored version” of an old PUBG trailer of Survivor Pass Season 9: Highlands.

PUBG Mobile India has not officially released any new content related to the game and hence, this viral clip is a fake or edited video. The large population awaiting the return of their favorite game can be misled by such clips trending on social media so make sure to check the validity of it’s source before considering it as the official trailer
PUBG Mobile India can be launched very soon and since the return is officially confirmed, it is only a matter of time before the game hits official application stores. The developments regarding PUBG Mobile India are moving in a progressive direction and recently, PUBG Corp. has officially registered its Indian subsidiary under the name of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd.

The launch date for PUBG Mobile India was speculated to be around the festive season of Diwali but there no further announcements or release took place till date and if the launch was halted till the subsidiary was officially registered, we can expect an announcement by PUBG Mobile India officials very soon.
