PUBG Mobile has released its first beta patch after the game recieved a big revamp a month ago. Since the launch of ‘New Era‘ 1.0 update, the game has been and new features made it more realistic. PUBG Mobile version 1.1 is available for the beta testers and some new exclusive modes are added.
PUBG Mobile Beta 1.1: Metro Royale Details
PUBG Mobile’s latest update will be themed as “Metro Royale” in which, a new Metro mode has been added and the main game lobby is tweaked to have same mode background. Players can view the Metro Royale mode right after the update and clicking on start will transfer the screen to an underground station themed lobby.
In the underground station lobby, players can switch between the lobby to a command centre but the significance of that specific centre is not known yet. All the in-game details are apparently provided in a different language for now.
Metro Royale Mode will feature two new maps. Basically the maps is a severed portion of Erangel but contains different locations, names and buildings. The terrain still gives classic Erangel vibes but infrastructure is completely different in Metro mode.
Players can also set loadouts to take into the game. This loadout will be different than the usual Team Deathmatch loadout and will contain all the equipments like guns and its attachments, first-aid kits, boosters and bandaids. Players can customize this loadout and choose their preferred guns to take in the matches.
Beta testers are spotting a flying dragon in the Metro mode and it is still unclear if that unique model will be launched in the global version or not. The other details are included in the patch notes given below:
This new update includes lots of exclusive details in the Metro Mode and various items will be added to make the game experience more vivid. Currently, the only change that can be potentially implemented in classic mode is the “Melee Throw” option. This feature was first implemented in PUBG PC and now will be introduced in PUBG Mobile.
