PUBG Mobile: ScoutOP benched by Fnatic for Quarantine Cup after toxic comments against Bhishma

Fnatic ScoutOP abused U-Mumba's Bhishma during a scrim! Scout got really frustrated by his team's performance! What happened afterwards? Let's uncover the entire Scout-Bhishma story

It all started today in the afternoon on Scout’s live stream on his personal YouTube channel where he was playing a scrim match in the Sanhok map. All the big teams from PUBG Mobile India were also in the same lobby as team Fnatic. Scout was the IGL in that game. So what happened was that team Fnatic hot dropped in Bootcamp followed by Team U-Mumba.

After some trades, when Scout decided to move in from a flanking position, he got knocked down by UMERxN Bhishma. FNC Ronak came in to revive Scout. During this time, Scout was telling his teammates to give him back up from the backside but somehow one of the players from team U-Mumba were able to finish the kill on Scout. FNC Ash was able to takedown & get a kill on Bhishma but Team Fnatic eventually lost that fight in Bootcamp.

This really angered Scout who first started blaming his teammates for not providing him with proper support & then he started abusing UMERxN Bhishma. He said on stream pointing towards Bhishma and entire U Mumba esports that “Tumhe PMPL mai dekh lunga!”. Scout made several toxic remarks about entire U Mumba esports and how they will get disbanded after PMPL due to the lack of sponsors. Bhishma was the main guy on his radar on which he made several other personal comments as well.

So after all this Bhishma got a lot of toxic messages on his Instagram handle where Scout’s fans were found abusing Bhishma and even his mom. (Pretty lame right?)

All the members from team Fnatic (Owais, Paritosh, Ash, Aurum, Ronak, Franky) and even Fnatic’s India Head Nemo shared an image on their story from Fnatic’s PUBG Mobile official Instagram handle where they mentioned, “Fnatic does not support toxicity. We are sorry on behalf of ScoutOp. We will take necessary actions on this. Please stop the hate messages to Bhishma”

A clip from Scout’s live stream also went viral where he was on a phone call and a comparison between his, Bhishma & U Mumba esports scenario and the controversy of C9’s Sixless was initiated by the person on the other side of the call. Scout got mad when this happened and told the person to not compare this controversy with that of Sixless’s. ScoutOp confessed several times during this phone call that he had said sorry to Bhishma. He even requested his fans and the audience at the time of the live stream to not spread hate towards Bhishma.

The end result? Well, Fnatic has declared that they have benched ScoutOP for the rest of the Pro Scrim Invitational Quarantine Cup, however, he will still play in the starting lineup for the remainder of PMPL. This decision made by an org like Fnatic shows that they will not support any kind of toxicity even if it comes from a star player of their PUBG Mobile team like ScoutOP. Do you think they made the right decision?
