BLACKPINK to play PUBG Mobile showmatch later this month

The match will be streamed live on the game's Facebook and YouTube pages.

The devs of insanely popular battle royale PUBG Mobile organized a collaboration with BLACKPINK earlier in September this year. Today, it was announced that members of the South Korean female group are about to participate in a ‘fun match’ gameplay show later this month.

Since the initial announcement of the collab, several new events were introduced to PUBG Mobile like revamped lobby music, upgraded visuals, new airplane and airdrop skins, and more.

Additionally, players were also given a chance to win signed BLACKPINK albums by gifting in-game items to the band members Jennie Kim, Kim Jisoo, Lisa Manoban, and Rosé Park.

The newly announced showmatch will feature South Korean singer Kim Hee-chul, and streamers ‘DDEDDEDDEDDE’ and ‘BEENU’ alongside the BLACKPINK members.

The match will be streamed live on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of PUBG Mobile.

No further details of the upcoming tie-up are known as of yet.
