Jalandhar Boy Steals Rs 50,000 from Father to Buy PUBG Skins

PUBG Mobile is taking a lot of flak in the Indian mobile gaming market. A recent event which has come to light suggests that a 15-year-old boy in Jalandhar stole Rs 50,000 from his father’s account to spend on buying PUBG skins and gaming accessories.

It seems the kid stole the money to buy a gaming pad for mobile along with some other PUBG Mobile skins.

The father, who works as a bike mechanic, reported the theft when he found that the amount was debited from his account.

According to reports, the father did not realise that the money was missing from his account until he filed the police complaint. He also mentioned not receiving any OTP nor any transaction messages from his bank.

The details about the transaction came to light when the cyber cell launched an investigation into the matter. It was found that the money has been transferred to a Paytm account from his and the same was used to buy PUBG items.

Just FYI, all PUBG Mobile skins and other items can only be purchased via the Google PlayStore or the app store.
