Lenovo India has announced their first Rainbow Six Siege Tournament in India. The tournament will have a prize pool of 3,00,000 INR. The registration for the event will begin from the 9th of August and will continue to the 15th of August. Lenovo has not revealed the dates of the event to the public.
The prize pool split is as follows:
- 1st place: Rs. 150,000
- 2nd place: Rs. 70,000
- 3rd place: Rs. 40,000
- 4th place: Rs. 40,000
The tournament will feature a BO1 format and the finals and semifinals will be played in a BO3 format. The tournament is using the Pro League rules and new operators, Nokk and Warden, have been banned from play. The tournament will only be played in the ranked mode and will feature the following maps:
- Club House
- Consulate
- Bank
- Kafe Dostoyevsky
- Border
- Coastline
- Villa
The tournament is locked to the India region and all participants have to be 18 years or above to make themselves eligible to play at the event.
While signing up, the participants have to provide their mobile number, Facebook Link and email address.
The event will have a LAN Finale, whose dates have not been revealed, which will be played exclusively on Lenovo Laptops.
