In what comes as a sad news for the Rainbow Six Siege player base, former Chaos EC star Arif “Next1” Keskin has passed away today following complications due to COVID-19.

The 24-year-old was hospitalized after contracting COVID-19 in mid-April.

In his last Tweet posted on April 15th, Keskin thanked his fans for the love and support he received during the hard times.

Chaos EC expressed their condolences on the unfortunate death of Keskin.

“He was a great personality and we were honored to have him play under the Chaos banner,” the org said in a Tweet. “Our thoughts are with his family at this time.”

Needless to say, this is a heartbreaking day for R6s fans,.The community has shown their respects to the pro through posts on various social media forums. Some R6 players have also raised demands for an in-game skin as a tribute to Keskin. Whether or not Ubisoft turns this into a reality still remains to be seen.
