Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is set to receive an update that marks the 19th expansion in Operation Neon Dawn. The update is presumed to bring an improvement galore with several bug fixes along with a new operator and a new map.
R6 is no stranger to updates of massive sizes and the upcoming one is no different. Reported to of a whopping 60 GB on PC and half of that for the consoles Ubisoft stated “With Operation Neon Dawn, we will be consolidating data files which means this patch is larger than usual, but when complete will take up less memory on your computer/console.”
The R6 Neon Dawn update will drop on December 1 at 08:00 EDT on Windows PC, 09:00 EDT on PlayStation, and 11:00 EDT on Xbox consoles. The server downtime is expected to somewhere close to an hour.
The latest expansion will come with a 100 tier Rainbow Six Siege Operation Neon Dawn battle pass along a 1200 credit premium track. Other than the reworked map and a new operator, small-time bug fixes and optimizations are also to be expected. Reports also hint towards gadget interaction changes as well as new Voice to Text and Text to Voice options for in-game communication.
