Reliance Jio Esports is hiring a lot of esports talent, apply now

Jio Esports to begin its hiring process, applications open. Reliance Industries Limited, the parent company is giving opportunities for young talents who have prior gaming experiences.

Jio is set to venture into the rapidly growing esports scene in India, as it looks to hire people with relevant experience in different domains with each esport as they look to increase their presence within the subcontinent.

Reliance had hinted about its enthusiasm in getting into esports, after it premiered the League of Legends World Championship 2018 exclusively on its popular app, JioTV. As it looks to expand its operations, the following positions have just been opened:

The esports arm of Reliance Jio is actively acquiring esports and gaming experts to build a team of their own. The current openings for people looking to apply are; prior gaming experience shall definitely be a plus.

  • League Operations Manager
  • Product Manager
  • eSports event manager
  • Platform Manager
  • Community Manager

This moves promises to cause a big disruption in the gaming industry, as Reliance aims to repeat its success of the Jio. They have also hired ex-Riot Games Country Manager Anurag Khurana, who had previous experience at RIL, working for them for 6 years till 2006.
