Renegades CSGO team reported to part ways with their organization

As the Berlin Major has come to its conclusion, the Renegades roster also seems to have reached the end of the line under the Australian banner. Multiple sources stated that Renegades players have contract that are to be expire real soon, maybe sooner than we realize. Some sources are indicating towards a mass renewal of contract from their players while others indicate Renegades parting ways with Counter-Strike in its entirety, with little to no intention to return.

Renegades debuted their CSGO after acquiring the Vox Eminor line-up which featured Aaron “AZR” Ward and Justin “jks” Savage from the current line-up. JKS has been a star player for them, single headedly grinding out the match for his side. Through the course of time, they have undergone a lot of roster changes but never seem to have found their footing, with insignificant finishes all along until recent months.

The current Renegades roster consist of:

  • Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward
  • Justin ‘jks’ Savage
  • Joakim ‘jkaem’ Myrbostad
  • Sean ‘Gratisfaction’ Kaiwai
  • Jay ‘Liazz’ Tregillgas

With this line-up they made it to the semi-finals of Starladder Berlin Major 2019, which is the most notable achievement for the organisation’s CSGO roster, alongside a quarter-final finish in Katowice Major 2019 and the most disappointing finish for them was at ESL One Cologne 2019, where they came last. Renegades are yet to play in ESL Pro League Season 10 but have enough time in their hands to retract their name from the competition.

According to information presented to Dexerto, ESL has presented certain teams with a term sheet that would require them to exit all other leagues longer than 14 days in length.
