Jakob “JUGi” Hansen rose to fame in and around 2017 when the Dane showcased his fiery AWP skills. Following his rise at Tricked and a stint with Heroic, the 23-year-old has remained stagnant. He has played for prominent organizations like OpTic Gaming and North prior to his alleged arrival at Astralis, according to a report by TV2.
This comes amid the reports suggesting that Astralis looks forward to sign as many as 8 players excluding the coach. The Danish organization has, so far, signed Patrick “es3tag” Hansen. 24-year-old will join Astralis on July 01 after his contract with Heroic ceases.
With Jakob “JUGi” Hansen’s addition, the Astralis will have a total of 7 players and a coach. The reports suggest that Astralis can sign yet another player.
Jakob “JUGi” Hansen was benched by North in January earlier this year and his contract with the organization ended a fortnight ago. If the report comes to fruition, Astralis’ CS:GO roster will be:
- Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen
- Nicolai “device” Reedtz
- Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth
- Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander
- Emil “Magisk” Reif
- Jakob “JUGi” Hansen
- Patrick “es3tag” Hansen (from July 01)
- Danny “zonic” Sørensen (Coach)
