Report: suNny to replace Aleksib on ENCE after StarLadder Berlin Major

In a report by Jarek “DeKay” Lewis, DeKay mentions that ENCE are expected to make a roster change by removing Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen, their IGL, for a fellow Fin, Miikka “suNny” Kemppi.

According to DeKay, the new ENCE lineup will be featured at BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019 and the StarLadder Berlin Major, where ENCE will be seen at the Returning Legends stage, will be the last tournament for Aleksib with the full Finnish roster.

Since Aleksib’s addition to ENCE, the team has emerged victorious at BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019. The Finnish gunners missed out on victories at Intel Extreme Masters XIV – Chicago and DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, where they lost to Liquid on both accounts. In addition, ENCE missed out on winning the Katowice Major 2019 due to a loss against Astralis.

Despite being listed as a member of Mousesports, a transfer to ENCE has been completed or being discussed by ENCE according to DeKay’s sources.

If this move is completed, it would raise questions about who would take over the reigns of the team and is still unclear.

The rumoured ENCE lineup could look like:

  • Alleksi ‘allu’ Jalli
  • Jere ‘sergej’ Salo
  • Jani ‘Aerial’ Jussila
  • Sami ‘xseveN’ Laasanen
  • Miikka ‘suNny’ Kemppi *
  • Slava ‘Twista’ Räsänen (Coach)
