Resident Evil Village demo is now extended for a week

Capcom has been showing off Resident Evil Village generously as they have offered numerous demos exclusively for PlayStation users. Two of these demos, ‘Village’ and ‘Castle’  each showcased different sections of the game and had a limited playtime of 30 minutes and were available on PS Store for 8 hours.

However, this complicated time window wasn’t well-received by fans as not everyone could access the demos due to different schedules and in response to this, Capcom has decided to extend the final demo which combines both the Village and Castle areas.

Capcom had initially planned for the demo to be available for 24 hours, but now they have extended the time by a week and two days after the full game’s launch. The demo will be available starting May 1 at 5 PM, PDT but will end on May 9 at 5 PM PDT instead. It will be open to players across all platforms – PC, Xbox One & Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Stadia.

Set after a few years of Resident Evil: Biohazard, Village follows the story of Ethan Winters,  and players can experience his journey across a mysterious village to find his daughter.

Village comes out on May 7 on PC, Stadia, Xbox & PlayStation (Current & Previous gen systems).
