Counter-Strike legend and Natus Vincere star Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has found himself in the headlines recently after he was named the MVP of BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020.
The 23-year-old returned to Twitch yesterday following a break from 16th January, and a record number of viewers tuned in to watch his CSGO stream on 26th January.

S1mple’s previous personal record of peak concurrent viewership was set at almost 50,000 viewers in December, 2020. On his January 26th stream, the Ukranian managed to surpass the number by a considerable margin, hitting a peak concurrent viewer count of 59,697.
S1mple is renowned across the world as one of the finest CSGO players and one of the best AWPers in the professional CSGO scene. His recent popularity comes as no surprise considering the terrific form he has been in lately alongside his ability to keep his viewers entertained throughout a stream.
