In a shocking turn of event, one of the highly skilled CS:GO players Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev’s Twitch channel is suspended. Natus Vincere star player is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch and players tune in to watch his gameplay. The reason behind 21-year-old’s ban is not clear yet.
However, netizens suggest that he might have received Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) strike due to streaming copyrighted songs. “He said forbidden word on stream as a joke (in Russian),” commented a user on Reddit. However, another user suggested that Oleksandr is suspended because he streamed EASports while the FIFA tournament was live.
Definite cause behind the suspension is unclear, however, the article will be updated as the story unveils.
EDIT: Oleksandr is suspended for a period of one week. He received a suspension for using homophobic slur (pidor) on his July 29 stream.
