s1mple to stay with Natus Vincere until late 2020

The 2018 world’s no 1 Counter-Strike player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is expected to stay with Natus Vincere until December of next year according to DBLTAP. The timing of this arrangement have not been disclosed yet, and neither the player or the organization went public about it.

Back in 2017 NaVi signed S1mple along with flamie, since then their roster went through some significant changes. The Russian organization saw Edward getting loaned out with Zeus hanging his mouse up. They signed back GuardiaN and Boombl4 to complement the roster with Boombl4 to take up the IGL role. Getting GuradiaN on the AWP meant s1mple will have less time on the weapon, which saw him transit back to an assault player, only to play the big green as a secondary to the Slovak.

Since such changes in the rosters, Na’Vi went up to semifinals of DreamHack Masters Malmö and had a clean qualifier group for ESL Pro League Season 10. This change also recorded their worst tournament where they made a group stage exit from i-League Season 8.
