Despite being one of the five players and the owner of one of the Grand Finalists Team X Spark, Tanmay “Scout” Singh was nowhere to be seen on the final day of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 Grand Finals. Scout Missed BGIS 2023 Grand Finals Day 3 Due to a Series of Unfortunate Events

In a recent live stream, Scout explained his absence from the highly-anticipated BGIS 2023 Grand Finals Day 3. Scout recounted a nightmarish series of events that led to his absence from the final day of the BGIS 2023 Grand Finals. The saga began with a car accident while he was en route to the event venue Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Dome in Worli, Mumbai, setting the tone for a disastrous day.

Scout explained that following the accident, his car had to be towed away. However, his friend and fellow content creator Kaashvi came to their rescue, giving him a ride to the LAN event. However, the real shocker unfolded during this journey. While traveling, unauthorized transactions began piling up on Scout’s credit card, with amounts ranging from INR 2,000 to 4,000. In total, a substantial sum of INR 25,000 to 30,000 was fraudulently charged. The culprits used Scout’s card to purchase games, including Crash Bandicoot, Assassin’s Creed Mirage and deluxe versions of classic titles.

Scout promptly contacted his bank to block the compromised card, hoping to limit the damage. Surprisingly, within just one hour of blocking the card, he received a notification that his email had been changed.

Scout Revealed He Did Not Attend BGIS 2023 Grand Finals Day 3 Due to Security Concerns

The unfolding disaster didn’t stop there. Scout shared that he called Urvesh, his manager, to explain his situation and confirm his attendance at the LAN event. However, Urvesh informed him that creators were not being allowed entry due to security concerns. Security concerns arose as the audience broke the barricade outside the venue to enter.

“Imagine what was going through my mind. I lost my money, met with a car accident, card got blocked, dcould not enter LAN, I lost my PlayStation account. Five messed up things at once. I was so furious,” Scout added.
