Renowned CSGO marksman Adil ‘ScreaM’ Benrlitorm is set to return to the big leagues, only this time in Valorant. Liquid are reportedly in talks to sign the remaining part of the fish123 roster that comprises of gamers from United Kingdom after Ardis ‘ardiis’ Svarenieks was signed by Team G2 Esports, with ScreaM set to round out the roster for the North American organisation.
fish123 had an insanely dominant start in Valorant. Featuring Adam ‘ec1s’ Eccles as the more promising of the five players to migrate from CSGO, the United Kingdom stack won a total of more than 22,000 USD in winnings and were arguably regarded as the best Valorant squad in Europe.
However, the team has struggled since ardiis departed to team up with Oscar ‘mixwell’ Canellas at G2, who are now the most dominant European team in Valorant. The stack though, look set to be signed by Liquid along with the prospect of ScreaM completing the roster.
The 26-year-old Belgian rifler last played for Gamer Legion and has been playing in temporary stacks ever since while also taking a break before the launch of Valorant. ScreaM migrated to Valorant since it’s beta launch and has retained much of his aiming prowess while being one of the players to seamlessly ease into the game and its mechanism.
Should Liquid sign the roster, they would follow in the footsteps of fellow North American organisations TSM and 100Thieves in joining the Valorant craze, lending more credibility to the prospect of having a thriving Valorant scene.
