Sentinels, TSM, and 100 Thieves reach Top 8 in Valorant First Strike NA Qualifiers

The top 4 teams from the qualifiers proceed directly to the First Strike tournament.

The first leg of the North American Valorant First Strike qualifiers has nearly concluded, and only eight teams remain out of the 128 participating teams in the Nerd Street Gamers qualifiers.

The top eight teams of North American Valorant include Sentinels, Gen.G, T1, TSM, 100 Thieves, Cloud9 Blue, Team Envy, and Slimy Boogermen. These teams will battle it out today to determine the top 4 teams to move straight to the main event which is scheduled to start from December 3rd. The next four teams will get another shot at First Strike through the second leg of qualifiers.

Here are the remaining matchups for the evening:

  • Sentinels vs Gen.G
  • Team Envy vs T1
  • TSM vs 100 Thieves
  • Cloud9 Blue vs Slimy Boogermen

Surprisingly enough, some popular teams like FaZe Clan, Renegades, Dignitas, or the Cloud9’s all-female team Cloud9 White failed to secure positions in the top 8. This doesn’t mean the end for them, though. The teams that failed to qualify in the first leg get another chance to prove themselves in the UMG qualifiers which will start from November 11th.

The four qualifying teams from the second qualifiers will take on the top four teams from the first qualifier in the main event for a massive prize pool of $100,000.
