Shroud frustrated with stream snipers; calls them clowns

Stream sniping is a problem that has been plaguing streamers for a long time, the more popular a streamer is, the more likely they are to get stream sniped by their immediate opponents.

Shroud for one is arguably the biggest streamer on Twitch who is constantly grinding multiplayer games all time, and given his reputation, it would be surprising if his opponents were unaware of who he is. Some respect him and take pride in the fact that they are facing such an accomplished player, while others throw their ethics out of the window and stream-snipe just to get an upper hand against the streamer.

Sometimes, in the higher-ranked matches, it is hard to tell whether the opponent is stream sniping but sometimes they make it too obvious that anyone can tell. Too many such incidents happened with the Canadian streamer and in his last stream, he lashed out at such players.

“Oh, these guys are so f***ing boring, dude! You know what I’m saying? This game would have been over. Literally, like 12-4, if you know what I’m saying. These f***ing clowns.” said Shroud

“Focus on yourself. You’re not learning. You’re just griefing. Literally, you’re not learning sh*t. You’re just f**king griefing yourself, your progress, and your little tiny f**king brain.” he added.

For lesser-known streamers, purposely delaying their stream for about 30secs to a minute often works out as a remedy however for someone of Shroud’s stature, delaying the stream is not possible every game. As of now, there is no way around it, while Valorant has some measures to hide names to somewhat prevent this, but Shroud is too big of a name for something like that to help him.
