The highly-anticipated Skyesports Championship 5.0 Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Grand Finals faced a massive technical blunder on the first day. Skyesports cancelled all the matches of the championship, featuring a prize pool of ₹1.25 Crore, on the first day. However, Skyesports is determined to mitigate such technical issues moving forward in the tournament.
Skyesports Championship 5.0 to Resume From Second DaY
The audience hyped up for the Skyesports Championship 5.0 Grand Finals Day 1, taking place on 3rd November. However, they had to endure a frustrating delay of several hours from the start time due to unforeseen technical difficulties.
Eventually, Skyesports announced that Day 1 of the Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Grand Finals was postponed due to technical difficulties at the venue, and would resume on the next day. Skyesports added that the team is working tirelessly to resolve these issues. Furthermore, Skyesports is determined to bring the esports action live from today, 4th November.
Additionally, Loco, the event’s streaming partner, had planned to stream the event exclusively for its VIP members. To compensate for the delay, Loco announced that those who had purchased a three-day VIP subscription to watch the event would receive an extension for VIP memberships till 10th November. Additionally, VIP members will also 30 free Diamonds
The BGMI Grand Finals, originally slated for November 3rd, will now commence on 4th November. It is still unknown whether the will only take place on the remaining two days with a total of 12 matches, or Skyesports extend the tournament.
