The international technology giant Sony’s gaming gear brand, INZONE, has partnered with Cloud9 in a deal focused on the organization’s Call of Duty rosters.
The deal will ensure that Cloud9’s Call of Duty roster gets the right gears, starting with monitors. In addition to that, to commemorate the release of CoD BO6, Sony INZONE will organize a $10,000 Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 tournament to be made available on Cloud9’s Twitch channel.
Jack Etienne, CEO and Co-founder of Cloud9 said: “We’re constantly looking for ways to help our players improve, and partnering with Sony and utilizing their INZONE monitors is a big step toward ensuring our team competes at the highest level.
“Sony’s technology gives us a critical edge, allowing our players to push their limits and reach their full potential.”
Cloud9 having acquired the NY Subliners earlier this year has taken it upon itself to procure the best deals from the top companies out there to back their esports teams. C9 being one of the biggest names in NA esports, it’s hard to imagine them not going all out when announcing their arrival in an esport.
