With all the stuffs noticable from the in-game updates. Steam convincingly made few important and overdue changes into the basic user experiences by eliminating regular scam and spamming practices performed across its private chat feature.
As not many of you must have noted. Steam apparently rolled out a major security update as the latest user experience feature. This means a lot to traders and people with fantasy of having high-end expensive skins in their inventory. Many of you must have faced the issue of regular messages from strangers pretending to be your friend and asking you to click on links to view their items which perhaps are none less than scams.
And apparently, this latest 15th December client update would simple filter all the messaging rights. People who are secondarily linked to you or played a game with you or are in a group-chat will only have the option to send you a private chat.
