Steam servers have started to recover, the unofficial website Steam Status suggests. Upon checking the friends network, which was earlier down, the function seems to be operating just fine.
After a wide downtime across 50% of the Steam services, Twitter started exploding with large number of people tweeting the issue. Despite the downtime, no official statement was made public by the official Steam social media handles.
The services including, Steam store, CS:GO & DotA 2 servers, friends network, and other profile responded with a Error.
Although the downtime was comparatively large, the services now seem to be fine.
The load on the EU & Polish CS:GO servers still appear to be on High Load as per SteamStat, but 99% of the services are reportedly back online.
