Team Brutality wins Novaplay’s Supernova

Team Brutality wins Novaplay’s Supernova CS:GO championship held in Banglore on 3rd of July, 2016, making it their longest win-streak back-to-back in the majors. They were awarded with ₹2,00,000 in the bank and a respect to carry forward in the next event.

The finals were a bit not like the finals as Team Brutality comfortably were able to clinch the championship title by defeating top Indian CS:GO teams and making themselves once again the Number 1 CS:GO team in India without a doubt. The debatable topic whether they are good only during online events is no longer logical as this is their power-pack victory even though when teams like Overcome and Wolf were fellow participants.

Novaplay

There is nothing much to talk technically about their game as the victory came in with two back to back wins leaving the last map untouched as they won 16-5 on cache, followed by 16-3 on dust2 in the grand finals versus Team Kungfu Pandits.

Team Brutality attend the event with their regular lineup, V3n0m, RiX, Fox, Kundya and astarrrr; whereas, The Kunfu Pandits were, Ribbi, AKS, Petrichor, Marzil and Moon.

The event, however, turned out to be unexpectedly great after the controversial decisions by the organizers led the unwanted vibes of negativity crawling around the fest with lots of different opinions edging their impact on the outcome of the event. We were at the event to witness some amazing Counter Strike as the organizers left no stones unturned in making this one of the biggest and successful LAN event this year.

The production, scheduling, technical and all the other aspects of the event were exceptional. The likes of Bleh and Aequitas at the analysis-cum-casting desk also added cheese to the dish as they were flawless in their non-stop 9 hours run. Novaplay’s Supernova was overall a sweet deal for the Counter Strike community with added perks at the LOFT38 pub which also had Comedy Industry’s veteran Abish Mathew as the stand-up comedian for the night.

Other than Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Novaplay had a Cosplay event as well which turned out to be great with Vijay Sinha assisting the viewers on from the stage and participating turning out to be in huge numbers. Supernova, as the website says, plans to continue their run for 4 different cities other than Bengaluru which is obviously a great news for the community.
