Team Liquid acquires TACO from SK Gaming

The long-held trade between SK Gaming and TACO finally concluded its final stage this morning. The Brazilian warrior who was with SK Gaming’s lineup for two years has now been successfully traded to Team Liquid.

“Taco has been an integral part of the SK Gaming CS: GO roster for the last two years and it’s always been a real pleasure working with him. He’s a great teammate, player, and person to be around thanks to his dedication and bright humor. We’re very proud of everything we’ve accomplished together during his time with us and we’re sad to see him go. However, we respect his wish to do so and have quickly come to terms with the team he chose to continue his career in”, says Alexander Müller, Managing Director at SK Gaming.

Whereas, TACO officially stated:

SK was my first professional organization and playing for that legendary tag was a pleasure. I’m happy that I could help them to keep their status as one of the most successful organizations in the world. A big hug to every friend and person in SK that helped me in these years, especially Alex, Jens, Martin, Valeri, Nuno, Jan, etc. Thank you!

TACO was recently benched from SK, following which the German roster picked up Stewie2K from Cloud9, who are now camping in North America. TACO had also mentioned that he will join a North American team, which has now been matured in the form of Team Liquid.
