Team OneBlade Bids Farewell to Its BGMI Roster

Team OneBlade has officially decided to part ways with its Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) roster, bringing an end to their collaboration that had been filled with high hopes and expectations. This significant announcement was made on 29th September, following several months of underwhelming performances by the team in various BGMI tournaments.

Team OneBlade’s BGMI Journey

Team OneBlade embarked on their journey with their BGMI roster back on 4th July 2023, initially teeming with optimism and great aspirations. However, as time went on, it became apparent that the team’s performance in BGMI tournaments was consistently falling short of their initial promise. An example of this was their disappointing 16th position finish in the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2.

The disappointment continued into the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. Despite their best efforts, the team failed to secure a spot in the tournament through The Grind, as well as the in-game qualifiers. These lackluster performances undoubtedly mounted pressure on both the team and its management, ultimately leading to a difficult and necessary decision.

In their official announcement post, Team OneBlade took a moment to express their deep gratitude to their sponsor, Philips. They acknowledged the incredible opportunity and unwavering support that Philips had provided throughout their journey together.

With this parting of ways, Team OneBlade bid farewell to their departing roster members, extending their heartfelt best wishes for their future endeavors. The roster included the following players:

  • Jaadu
  • Kanary
  • Roksta
  • Hero
  • Ghosty

As Team OneBlade turns a new page in their BGMI journey, the esports community will undoubtedly be watching closely to see how both the team and its departing players fare in their respective paths forward.
