It had to be sooner than later, the departing players were revealed to have been linked to Team Vitality who chose to overhaul their current roster after their failed run at the PGL CS:GO Stockholm Major which saw Richard “shox” Papillon been shown the door with the fate of the rest four players was left hanging around although they managed to display a decent run including a championship at the IEM Winter 2021 along with top-three finishes at BLAST Premier Fall and World Finals in the same year.

This addition comes as part of a €50M investment acquired from Rewired.gg which has been spread over the next three years to create European super teams which would be capable of winning the most coveted trophies in esports. This does also include the addition of Luka “Perkz” Perković and back-to-back European Champion Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság to Team Vitality’s League Of Legends roster.
In an exclusive press release acquired by TalkEsport, Fabien “Neo” Devide, Co-Founder and Esports Director at Team Vitality stated,
“This scale of talent investment has never been seen in esports before and I am honoured to be leading the charge with these rosters which have the potential to make history in Europe and beyond,”
The arrival of magisk and dupreeh at Vitality will indeed have the team’s firepower bolstered ahead of their 2022 season marking a fresh start for the duo, who have won a plethora of S-tier events together under Astralis including a hat-trick of majors at the FACEIT Major: London 2018, Intel Extreme Masters XIII – Katowice Major 2019 and finally StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.

As proven winners, dupreeh, magisk & zonic have what it takes to move us from not just being a strong contender, but the best CS:GO team in the world.” He continued.
