Twitch Streamer Ninja Says He Won’t Stream With Women to Prevent “Rumours” and “Accusations”

Popular Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has once again stated in an interview that he won’t stream with women to prevent feeding rumours. The 29-year old came under fire back in 2018 when he publicly stated the same.

“Accusations are what made me say that about female gamers,” the Twitch star said in a New York Times Magazine interview. “I was like, I’m going to do anything in my power to make sure that no one can even start a rumor or make YouTube clickbait videos: ‘Ninja is playing with this person a lot lately. They’re flirting. Here’s a clip.’ You know how to make that never happen? You don’t let it happen.”

“I still stand by not having a lot of alone time with a woman, in general, if you are a married man,” Ninja continued. “I mean they could be your best friend, that’s totally cool. But if I randomly start playing with a woman no one knows, people are going to start talking. So if I am going to play with female gamers, I do it with a big group so it’s not that one-on-one interaction.”

For the unaware, Ninja has currently ranked the #1 streamer on Twitch with a follower count of a whopping 16.7 million. While he primarily rose to fame playing the battle royale Fortnite, Ninja has been streaming a lot of Valorant as of late.
