U Mumba eSports in talks with Excali – Report

U Mumba eSports are in discussions to add Ex-Entity member Karan "Excali" Mhaswadkar, TalkEsport has learned.

Ronnie Screwvala backed esport organization U Mumba Esports is likely to acquire Karan “Excali” Mhaswadkar. 22-year-old Mumbai lad departed Entity Gaming after ESL India Premiership 2019-2020 Winter LAN Finale in Delhi as the organisation is heading towards a colossal roster change, TalkEsport had reported.

Karan returned back to Entity Gaming in June 2018 and since then, he has been delivering top-notch performance for the squad. During his tenure at Entity Gaming, Karan has won Mountain Dew Arena 2018, Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup 2018, ESL India Premiership 2018 Winter LAN Finale, Mountain Dew Arena 2019 and ESL India Premiership 2019 Winter LAN Finale 2019 while he also represented India at Zowie eXTREMESLAND 2019.

Sources, however, couldn’t confirm which player will be benched to make way for former Entity star. The addition of Excali would give U Mumba eSports the following roster:

  • Akshay “Kappa” Sinkar
  • Vishal “haiVaan” Sharma
  • Ayush “astaRR” Deora
  • Ishpreet “HuNtR” Singh
  • Varun “Mast3r” Menon
  • Rohit “BondF” Latke
  • (+) Karan “Excali” Mhaswadkar

TalkEsport has not reached out to U Mumba Esports for a comment.
