Ubisoft game studios’ Montreal office is reportedly experiencing a hostage situation, according to reports. The situation was brought to light by a friend of an employee of that base who is currently working from home and as such, has been able to avoid the situation.
However, the said employee has relayed information to the friend mentioned in the report that they were able to contact the other Ubisoft Montreal employees stuck in the office and that they are hiding under desks.
Some of the staff have been able to evacuate the premises while others are in hiding. More information will be added to the report as the situation continues to escalate.
