Valorant agent Neon teased after Prime Gaming leak

Following an accidental leak of the next up and coming agent in Valorant by Prime Gaming, the game developers at Riot pulled off a curtain lifter on Neon, who is expected to be unveiled as a part of the Episode 4 Act 1.

Fans often check the Prime Gaming page for a batch of new content but this time to their surprise, they were blessed with the first look of Neon, the next brand new agent to be added in Valorant.

Codenamed as “Sprinter”, she was teased during the opening ceremony for the VCT Champions Finals. The small clip showed us a silhouette made of strings of numbers and letters, while a woman’s voice, which is presumed to be that of Neon, echoes in the background.

Although the leak was later retracted by Prime Gaming, it was enough for the community to screen snip the content before it was made viral on the internet. With the rising speculation, Riot decided to officially reveal their next agent, with further details to be shared by the former by the next week.

The only thing we have been able to decrypt is that Neon is from the Philippines as a previous blog post from Valorant encased a note for the community, greeted in the Filipino language, “Mga kaibigan ko” which is “My Friends” in English and concludes saying “Maraming salamat!” which means “Thanks a lot!”

During the Valorant Champions 2021, Neon indeed used one of her voice lines which said “hope they like getting hit by lightning.” followed by a warning to “get ready” because she can “go extremely fast”, possibly hinting at her ultimate ability.

For now, we are completely clueless whether Neon would join the ranks as either a Duelist, Sentinel or Controller. She is expected to arrive as a part of the Episode 4 Act 1 which gets shipped on January 12.
