Valorant Coach Juv3nile Banned for 12 Months Over Inappropriate DMs – Full Details

Riot Games issued a 12-month competitive ban to Preston ‘Juv3nile’ Dornon, a 36-year-old Valorant coach, for violating their code of conduct. The ban follows a wave of public complaints by multiple women who revealed inappropriate and unwanted direct messages from the coach over several months.

Who is Juv3nile?

Juv3nile has been part of the Valorant esports scene for years. His most recent success came during his time with Leviatán, where he helped the team nearly reach the finals of Valorant Champions 2024. After this, he joined Global Esports, but that relationship has now ended abruptly due to his actions.

What Did He Do?

A growing number of women came forward on social media to expose DMs they received from Juv3nile. These messages ranged from awkward pick-up lines to inappropriate sexual suggestions. Some messages included disturbing content such as offers to fly women across the world to meet him, even when they hadn’t responded.

He also used manipulative phrases like,

“i gotchu, lets duo so I can start to gas light you, then I fly you in irl to watch us at riot arena.”

Many of the women were in their late teens or early 20s. The messages were persistent and often repeated over a period of 3–6 months, despite no response.

The Investigation and Ban

The situation gained attention after women responded to a tweet about another coach, Fantomas, who was also accused of DMing women. That sparked a larger discussion, leading many to share similar experiences with Juv3nile.

Once Riot Games was made aware of the situation, they launched an investigation. They concluded that Juv3nile had harassed multiple women, violating Riot’s values of respect, safety, and professionalism.

Their official statement read:

“After careful consideration of the matter, Juv3nile will be suspended from all Riot-sanctioned esports competitions for 12 months starting today, 4 April 2025, and will be required to complete an executive training focused on conduct, respect, and professionalism.”

Online Reaction

The Valorant community was quick to react. Many fans labeled Juv3nile’s approach as “L rizz” (slang for bad flirting). Others were shocked by the explicit and aggressive tone of his messages. One viral response said:

“Telling a girl you don’t know that you’re going to CNC her is legit devious.”

The term CNC stands for Consensual Non-Consent, a type of role-play that requires deep trust and clear boundaries. Using this term in unsolicited messages was widely seen as creepy and unacceptable.

What’s Next?

As of now, Juv3nile has not made any public statements. His Twitter account has been inactive since March 19, 2025, the same day the allegations became public.

This incident serves as a reminder that esports professionals must be held to high standards of behavior. Respect and safety are not just rules—they are core values of any healthy gaming community.
