VALORANT Mobile version assets accidentally discovered by a Gamer

Redditor stumbles upon perfectly working tablet mode controls for Valorant.

It has only been a few days since the Valorant closed beta was released, and a cross-platform compatibility in the form of VALORANT Mobile assets have hit the internet. Gaining worldwide popularity and winning the hearts of fans and critics alike, Valorant is at the center of attraction for the FPS community.

The game also stayed on top of the Twitch charts for a while now as fans are flooding streams in hopes of receiving a beta key for the game.

The first-person shooter reached the world record for the maximum concurrent viewer count on Twitch in only a few hours of its release.

VALORANT MOBILE

With the amount of traction this game is getting it’d seem reasonable that Valorant would get a mobile version, following in the footsteps of games like Fortnite and League of Legends, another popular title by Riot Games. But it was beyond anyone’s expectations that fans would be able to find hints towards a mobile version even before the final release of the actual game.

Reddit user u/Spacixr likes to boot up the game in tablet mode on his laptop. One such time when he loaded up the game his screen was to his surprise, filled with a UI which seemed like tablet controls for the game. He also mentions in his Reddit post that the controls were working absolutely fine when he decided to try them out by loading up a practice map.

The post received huge positive feedback from the community as other fans seemed to be overjoyed at the possibility of a mobile version for the competitive shooter. As Reddit user u/xfstop comments in the thread, “This definitely seems like a leak you weren’t supposed to find! But good one”

There’s a good chance that we’ll get to see the mobile version of Valorant in the upcoming months, and it’s certain to give its other competitors like the mobile versions of PUBG, Call of Duty and Fortnite a run for their money.
