It has been a while since Valorant’s newest Agent, Neon, was introduced to the game in January 2022. Since then, we’ve had the major Episode 4 Act 2 update on March 1st, but it didn’t bring with it any new Agents to the shooter. As stated in an official statement made by the Valorant devs, the next Valorant agent is set to be a competition to Sova and will likely join the roster of initiators alongside Breach, Skye, Sova and KAY/O.
“So the notion of another Agent that revolves around the information gathering aspect of the tactical loop has, for a while, been top of mind for us,” Character Producer John Goscicki said.
“This next Agent should give you a more…intimate feeling when hunting down enemies. Of course, there is our theme—but the thought of giving away too much frightens me so I’ll leave that out.”
Valorant Agent 20 Name
While the actual name of the upcoming Valorant agent is not yet known, he has been codenamed ‘Bounty Hunter’ according to multiple leaks in the past.
Valorant Next Agent Release Date
The next Valorant agent will be introduced to the live servers alongside the Episode 4 Act 3 update, which is scheduled for release around April 27, 2022.
