The upcoming Act 3 of Riot’s competitive shooter Valorant is set to bring a heap of new changes to the game. The changes include a new map, a revamped competitive system, a refreshed Battle Pass with updated rewards, and a new skin collection.

Details of the Battle Pass have recently been leaked by dataminers, and other than skins of Vandal and Bucky, it also seems to contain a dagger exclusive to the Act 3 Battle Pass.
However, players won’t be able to obtain the knife just by playing the game. To get the Ruin Dagger, along with some other exclusive skins like those of Vandal and Bucky, players will have to upgrade their Battle Pass by spending real money. Once upgraded, buyers will get access to a much broader line of rewards.
This doesn’t mean that you won’t get freebies for playing the game. Even if you don’t upgrade your Battle Pass, you’ll still be able to access a few rewards each time you level up your pass. Some of the free rewards have already been revealed by Riot like the ‘Chilly McFreeze’ gun buddy, a Viper spray, and a ‘Radianite Hazard’ player card, all of which will be exclusive to this year’s pass.
