The Last Chance Qualifier of the Valorant Champions Tour circuit in Europe is all set to begin from Oct 10 with a total of eight teams in contention towards the lone spot at the Valorant Champions event, to be held later this year in Berlin.
The LCQ is an invite-only tournament where the participants are determined based on their circuit points on the VCT Leaderboard. Gambit punched their ticket to the Champions event in Berlin alongside Acend and Fnatic who made it through to the marquee event of the game on the basis of their circuit points standings. We would now see G2 Esports and Team Liquid join the rest six teams to contest for the final passage towards the Champions event.
Trivia :
1. Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom will debut with Team Liquid as the 20-year-old replaced James “Kryptix” Affleck on the active roster who cited personal issues, which forced him to go on a temporary hiatus from the game.
2. Anubis Gaming had previously made it to the Last Chance Qualifier following their win over Team RA’AD at the Strike Arabia in the MENA region.
3. One Breth Gaming acquired the trio of Denis “hugeon” Vasiliev, Nikolai “zeddy” Lapko and Nikita “Coffee” Antsypirovich from forZe as the players get to retain their Circuit points.
