Breeze is all set to be featured in the upcoming VCT Stage 2 Masters LAN event to be held in Reykjavík, Iceland from May 24 – May 30.
Valorant Champions Tour on Twitter have revealed their plans to add Breeze to the map pool at the Stage 2 Masters, a global event that will be held in Iceland on LAN.
Valorant’s brand new map Breeze will be added to the current five map pool, followed by a revamped Pick/Ban Veto mode which would be transitioned into the game by the developers at the major event, consisting of 10 teams from across the regions which are a part of the VCT circuit. At the moment, there has been no official word on the to be “improvised Veto mode
“ by Riot but the addition of Breeze would change the concept of the same.
The teams qualifying for the main event would have a month’s time to work upon their strategies and other game plans followed by scrimming others in an attempt to have an upper hand over the same. The Pick/ban ratio of Breeze would be an interesting moment to watch out for as we would know the familiarity the former would have achieved since its release.
With a variety of six maps in the event, the Best of 3 match-ups would see two maps getting banned by the default process while both sides might need to mutually agree on banning the last remaining map left in the pool. In the case of a Best of 5 event, either there could be a random map ban by the admin or the mutual decision might be taken under consideration.
TalkEsport was invited to try out Breeze and you can catch the entire action under this VOD:
