The Challengers stage of the Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 is already well underway, and fans of the competitive shooter across the world have tuned in to the event to see their favorite Valorant teams battle it out in hopes of securing a slot at the playoffs. While the participating teams have managed to put up incredible performances throughout the event, some teams have certainly struggled to keep up with the rest.
It’s not a good day to be a fan of Cloud9 or Sentinels, as both the teams will be unable to attend the VCT Stage 2 playoffs after several disappointing performances in the group stages.
So far in the group stages, Cloud9 has only managed to put up a single victory across the board with three losses, while Sentinels has failed to win a single game. Both of the teams have only one game remaining in Week 5, but without any hope of advancing to the playoffs.
Cloud9 and Sentinels will take on each other in one final game on June 12th at 1 pm PT, where both the teams will bid farewell to the event regardless of the outcome. Both the teams are currently sitting at the bottom slots of Group B.
The top three positions of Group B are occupied by Evil Geniuses, Optic Gaming, and Luminosity Gaming respectively, with each team having secured three victories and one loss. FaZe Clan trails behind with two wins and two losses across four games.
The playoffs for VCT Stage 2 are set to kick off after the conclusion of the fifth week of the VCT Stage 2 Challengers event. The tournament can be caught live on the official Twitch channel of Valorant, while the VODs can be watched freely on the official Valorant Esports YouTube Channel.
